Dr. Georg Friese

I have been a nutritional medicine specialist for over 25 years and have passionately practised nutritional medicine as one of my core focuses in our joint practice in Giessen for more than 20 years. Nutritional medicine is one of the most important pillars of preventive medicine and a cross-disciplinary field that touches every medical specialty. Within nutritional medicine, my focus areas are sports medicine, obesity, sarcopenia, nutrition in older age, infectious diseases and oncology.

For the past two years I have been team physician of the German men’s national wheelchair basketball team.
